Our small art community is expanding! We are very happy to offer now the Airgentum Special Residency for Writters and Chefs. This new place is an special option for those writters that are seaking for a quiter creation space, for those creators that are looking for a place in which they will be catered while focusing completely in their project and for those chefs that would like to experience Andalusian real gastronomy.

Antonio and Eva, in their forties, are a local couple with a teenage girl Irene. All of them have being born and raised in Castilblanco de los Arroyos. Antonio runs a local trekking and nature activies company and an local internet conection shop. He loves nature and knows every single beautiful spot around Castilblanco: brookes, rivers, ponds, falls, where to pick mushrooms, where to find wild sparragus… Eva is an artisan now working on pyrography engravement and illustration. Meanwhile she has been also working with a local fresh cheese producer and cooking for a local touristic activities company. They speak only a bit of English but they will be accommodating and welcoming so you´ll feel at home and you´ll focus on your artwork.
Eva will cook for you during the residence stay. Meals are usually made following traditional receips and using local fresh products. You will enjoy a private single room with views over dehesa landscape. Bedlinen, desktop, Wifi conection and full board are included.
Their house is placed in a very quite area only 15 minutes walk from the village. They have a veggie garden, fruit trees, iberian pigs and their own natural fountain with manantial water. There is a big chimney in the living room for the winter and a nice swimming pool outside for the hot months.
All artists that stay with them are welcomed in Airgentum Villa Ducal and Airgentum Sierra Norte activities and gatherings! You´ll have the oportunity to mingle with international artists while keeping your own privacy and calm space in Airgentum Special.

Artists can stay 2 weeks periods (we can accept 4 weeks, please ask in case you may need more than 2 weeks). Dates are open. So please just follow the application process letting us know that you would like to join the Special Airgentum Residence

- Baking traditional desserts
